Jason Ackerman CPA | Partner
Jason is an accountant at Wagner, Ferber, Fine & Ackerman, where he works in tax, accounting and advisory, with a focus on working with small and medium-sized companies and their ownership to facilitate effective tax planning and efficient accounting systems on both a company and individual level.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrated Business & Engineering from Lehigh University, with a focus in Finance. He also holds a Master of Science in Taxation from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College.
In 2016, Jason was awarded the AICPA’s 2015 Elijah Watt Sells award. The award is given to CPA candidates who have obtained a cumulative average score above 95.50 across all four sections of the Uniform CPA Examination, passed all four sections of the Examination on their first attempt and completed testing in 2015. A total of nearly 94,000 individuals sat for the Examination in 2015, with 75 candidates meeting the criteria to receive the Elijah Watt Sells Award.
Prior to joining the firm in 2013, Jason served as an Equity Research Associate at Beacon Trust Company, a boutique wealth management firm based in Morristown, NJ.
