Mr. Podgor is Managing Director of the Tax Controversy and Forensic Accounting Services group at Wagner Ferber Fine & Ackerman, PLLC. This group performs investigative accounting for fraud, economic damage analysis, tax advocacy and business appraisals. Throughout his 40+ years at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, additional functions have included tax preparation, tax research and representation of clients at Federal and local tax examinations. He has been retained by law firms for matters that include business or asset valuation, tax fraud, eggshell tax examinations, damage calculations, divorce settlements, and criminal fraud. In addition to assisting the attorneys in case preparation, he has testified in a number of cases at both trial and deposition.
